Briquetting is

the formation of loose, loose, fine-grain ed substances such as ores and coal dust, in concise blocks of mo stly rectangular shape or a sphere, called briquettes. At the tim e of their formation, which takes place at high temperature and p ressure in the press called brykieciarkami, following generally combustible binder, which is mostly coal. In the case of briquetting of wood (sawdust) addition of uniting is not usually necessary.
